Indeed!
Counting down the days until my mom and dad come to visit for Thanksgiving. I've got a menu planned for Thanksgiving dinner and everything. Just got two cavities filled on Wednesday, which is of course always just a rockin' good time.
Jason and I were talking to each other about Christmas gifts, and it occurred to me that both of us have said "Well, I don't really -need- anything" or a similar sentiment several times, every time this discussion has come up.
Good heavens, we're turning into adults.
Isn't it weird when you realize that you're a grown-up? I have a student who has been very focused on the fact that I turned 28 today, so he keeps talking about it. How can I be so close to 30 already???

ReplyDeleteOh, and Pete's good! He invited Jason and I and Mom and Dad out to his house the day after Thanksgiving to visit, so we'll probably go see them! He said Becky'll be there and so will her daughter, too. I can't remember if the son will be?

ReplyDeleteI love Pete and Becky! They are so nice. I've only met their daughter Charlotte once, but she seemed wonderful too, as is Joey their son. They would be so pleased to see you guys!
